222 Brookton Highway,
Kelmscott ,
Western Australia. 6111,

Nestled in a bend of the Canning River, Poplar Cottage is situated on the beautiful "Poplar" property which was founded by Thomas Buckingham Jnr in 1868.

The cottage has been carefully restored to a quality standard with all of todays comforts in mind while preserving its original charm and character. There are three bedrooms to choose from, each with ensuite. There is a charming sitting room and kitchen/dining room to share with other guests. An expansive decking lies along the back, overlooking the river.

In the cosy sitting room you will find a copy of the written memoirs of the founder of the property. Relax on the snug sofas as you read, or just soak up the atmosphere. Photos of Thomas Buckingham Jnr and his family members adorn the walls...
