The Boomerangs consist of three fully self contained, boomerang shaped, cottages. They are surrounded by three acres of landscaped gardens which are home to a wide variety of local birdlife.
The views from these private cottages are spectacular. The distinctive boomerang shape enables 280 degree panoramic views over the Johanna Valley, native forest and the majestic Southern Ocean.
Our guests' comfort is our highest priority. Facilities include: Huge open living plan incorporating fully-equipped kitchen, dining and living area.
The kitchen of each cottage is totally self contained. If you wish to eat in you will find all the necessary bits and pieces. There are however, places to eat nearby if your idea of a holiday does not include cooking.
The bathroom in each cottage contains a porcelain spa bath and separate shower. The hand basin is a locally hand made ceramic bowl. Also included is a washing machine and dryer for those guests who stay longer.
The design of each cottage is open plan. The kitchen and living area is one large room. These cottages are quite large and easily cater for 4 people although we cater primarily to couples.
iews from the bedrooms are quite spectacular and the ocean is much closer than this photograph depicts. Johanna beach often has large waves and there's nothing better than the sound of roaring surf to nodd off to.

Located just off the Great Ocean Road at Johanna Beach, positioned between Apollo Bay and the Twelve Apostles this 600 acre property adjoins the beach and National Park.
Nestled in the sand dunes, the 7 cottages offer prime views of the rugged coastline, lush river flats, undulating hills and bushland. The cottages were designed with privacy in mind, so each cottage is strategically placed to ensure a sense of seclusion, peace and tranquillity.
All cottages are fully self contained and have all of the standard features plus a great deal more. Features include very well equipped kitchens, wood fires, spa baths, reverse cycle heating and air conditioning, king size beds and fenced yards.
