Both cottages have been recently built in the old style, with high ceilings, cornice, jarrah wooden floors, king-sized beds, elegant furniture and wood fires. Fitzpatricks Inn is a combined business offering many facilities. It has four accommodation motel style units with ensuites as well as four in-house rooms sharing a bathroom. The units are all at ground level whilst the rooms are on the first floor. A ground floor restaurant is open for lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Sunday inclusive. Thomas Andrew is our wonderful chef and we have an a la carte menu as well as a bar menu.

The quaint little village of Westbury, centrally located in the Northern Tasmania, is the perfect base from which to explore Launceston, Devonport, the Tamar wineries, Cradle Mountain, the Mole Creek Caves, the Northwest, and, of course the local attractions. Accommodation at Westbury Gingerbread Cottages is in 5 delightfully individual colonial cottages dating from the 1850's, with from one to three bedrooms accommodating from two to five guests, all decorated with period furniture and memorabilia. The cottages all have fully equipped kitchens and everything is supplied for a big hot breakfast. At the end of the day enjoy a quiet evening in front of the cosy gas log fires, or dine out at a local restaurant. The Gingerbread Cottage accommodates two guests in a queen bedroom, with lounge. kitchen/dining room, bathroom, laundry and verandashs overlooking the country garden. The Servant's Quarters accommodates two guests in a king bedroom, with lounge/dining room, kitchen/laundry and bathroom, with a communal BBQ courtyard outside...
