This property is an absolute delight. It combines the best of the old with the ease of the new. The antique fireplaces and genuine sash windows complement a thoroughly modern kitchen and luxurious spacious bathroom with two person spa bath and large shower. The house has two beautiful traditionally furnished queen sized bedrooms with a comfortable double sofa bed in the lounge. The front deck has the original lace inronwork and there is a hammock and a breakfast or evening cocktail table and chairs overlooking the loely gardens at the front of the house. At the back of the house are well kept delightful gardens with a secret love seat for the romantic and a very spacious entertainment area, complete with fernery and fish pond, barbeque and swing for those balmy South Australian evenings. Shortly after you leave the house on foot, you cross the Para River bridge and can choose to follow its banks for a shady walk or continue into the centre of the historic town of Gawler which has a cinema and a number of quality restaurants and bars, all within fifteen minutes gentle walk from the house...
