Located in Morwell, the Hazelwood Motel offers friendly and personal service to business and leisure travellers visiting the town and the surrounding area.

Morwell is located in the heart of the Latrobe Valley and is only a short drive away from the surrounding towns of Traralgon and Moe. T

The Hazelwood Motel is positioned close to the centre of Morwell, within walking distance of the train station. Our fully licensed Reflections restaurant serves a range of delicious dishes to our guests in the restaurant and in-room. From steaks to salads, we have carefully designed our menu to appeal to all tastes.The restaurant is open from 6:00 pm every Monday to Thursday. We also open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday by arrangement.

Walhalla Gold Mine
Take a tour of what was one of the world's richest gold mines. The Walhalla Long Tunnel Extended Gold Mine features 8.5 kilometres of underground workings extending to a depth of over 1000 metres. See the authentic and original workings of a gold mine that was world famous in its day.

Morwell National Park is a small, but important area of forest where you can see the original vegetation and wildlife of this part of Gippsland. The park contains picnic areas and many walking tracks, ranging from an easy stroll to a more energetic walk in the steeper parts of the park.
