Derwent Hideaway is a fully furnished 1950's self contained house with absolute waterfront to the Derwent river and great views of the Derwent, yachts at anchor and Mount Direction. Located at 4 Harbinger Lane Austins Ferry off Austins Ferry road Derwent Hideaway has three bedrooms, a bathroom with seperate toilet and wash basin, fully equipped brand new kitchen and laundry, barbecue, towels, linen, TV, stereo etc. Derwent Hideaway sleeps up to nine people and one baby (See Room/Bed Configuration). All main rooms have wonderful views of the Derwent River and Mount Direction. It has a large riverside garden dominated by two ancient oaks and at the rear there is a large pet enclosure. The property is surrounded by water and there is parkland on the other side of Harbinger Lane. The local Yacht club and launching ramp at the waterside end of Austins Ferry Road and shops and public transport at the other are both a short walk away and easily accessed by vehicle. Derwent Hideaway is an ideal base for business or pleasure as it is close to major businesses and tourist attractions and the Brooker highway which is the main route to Tasmanias west and north from Hobart...
Derwent Retreat is a fully equipped house situated on Stony point in historic Austins Ferry 15 minutes from Hobart. It has some of the best views in the state with a Panorama stretching from Mt Wellington in the south to Mt Direction to the east and north to the Quoin and beyond. The area is surrounded by parks and steeped in history.
To get there you drive through James Austin park where James Austin ran the first ferry in Tasmania and his house which was built between 1813 and 1820 still stands.

Derwent Vista has three bedrooms and the master bedroom has an en suite bathroom/toilet, There is also a large separate bathroom with separate toilet and wash basin. The modern fully equipped spacious kitchen has wonderful views and there is a separate laundry. On the deck there is a barbecue. The property is fully equipped and self-contained with fridge, stove washing machine and drier, TV, stereo etc. Towels, linen, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, and enough milk to get you started are also provided. Located in the centre of Richmond Tasmania, Richmond Cottages offer two cottages both built in the 1830's. They are original cottages with modern conveniences. Ivy Cottage was the Sergeant's Accommodation, a three bed roomed house, comprising: 1? Queen bedroom 1? twin bedroom 1? 1 single bed (cot available) Lounge room with cosy wood heater, Kitchen/dining room, Bathroom with claw foot bath (shower over), Laundry facilities provided. The Old Stables in the courtyard behind Ivy Cottage is the original stables converted to a rustic cottage. Down stairs a lounge/dining room with cozy wood heater and small kitchenette, while upstairs a double bedroom with en suite spa bathroom. Both cottages are supplied with continental breakfast provisions and are totally self contained.
